This award is named after Judge John Edger Chenoweth who set the standard pretty high.  Judge Chenoweth was an outstanding man gifted with remarkable talents and drive for achievement and service.  Some of the qualities we honor in a recipient each year are: Caring, Giving, Honesty, Responsibility, Respectfulness, Positive Attitude, Trustworthiness, and trying to advance the community.  The recipient being honored by this award is chosen for best exemplifying the qualities that Judge Chenoweth demonstrated as he served our community.

Local businesses may purchase table space to promote their business in this all-day event.  Radio advertising throughout the day with interviews and promotions for businesses. Donate a door prize for hourly drawing. Excellent networking between businesses and the public.

Two fun-filled days of music, dancing, games, vendors with arts and crafts, various demonstrations and beer garden (21+ ID required). Great family entertainment.

Local election candidates explain their position on current issues and answer questions from the public.  This event is sponsored as a community service by the Chamber and typically held at Trinidad State Junior College.
